Powell Valley v.s. Pound

This one could be a much better that alot of people think in my opinion.

Let's hear it... What kind of game plan will Pound bring to the park friday night? And what will the Vikings have to do in order to come out with a win?
Win with humility, loose with dignity.... the tropheys will come and you'll always be remembered as a champion.

Re: Powell Valley v.s. Pound

Pound's O-Line have got to play harder than they have any team so far. PV is a better team than any we have played so far IMO and therefore stepping it up is a must. They are young and many their first year of playing. So I am proud of them no matter what. They have played harder each time they played. Pound's defense is the key to this game.
PV is the more mature team and have many more weapons than we do and I look at PV as #2 in the LPD. But I believe Pound can be better than what many think of them. We have several freshmen and sophmores that have stepped up and played very good. I am proud of them all and though our offense line has played without some of its starters we are improving.
I look for PV to think that Pound will just lay down and quit but I don't believe they will. In the past Pound gave up alot into the 3rd and 4th quarter, not this year. Pound has actually done better in the last quarters than in the first two.
I am more interested in PV's speed compared to their passing game. I hear alot about their speed. Their passing game is what I look to see alot in this game with Pound.
So look forward to a good game and I have to cheer for my wildcats. NOT MILDCATS!!!!!!

after the GC / Lb game friday i wouldnt count out the wildcats at all. as they continue to work in practice the silly mistakes will come less often. and watch out for that Lee style onside kick they run. im telling you, if they recovered that kick they might have served up a big L to the devils, and in their own house.

of course, the Vikes continue to improve even as i type this... one should Never count out the Bullitt Boys.
Don't feel like Satan, but I am to them
So I try to forget it any way I can.

I think the Vikes win this one big! They are spitting mad after back to back losses and will be out for blood!

The two losses that PV had, what size school are they compared to PV? In the LPD PV is a top dog always with their talent and numbers for football. Whether anyone likes Phil or not he has a great program at PV and many other coaches I am sure respects that.

I think I am the one at GC that thinks Phil is the greatest coach in the LPD.

I think this might be a great game.No matter win or lose I love to watch our team. Some of the boys are good hitters and I look forward to hard hitting tackles every game. And a few good catches also.As we keep practicing and getting better every game I can't wait to see the outcome of the rest of the season. And I believe in the next few years the Wildcats are only gonna get better.
